Job summary

Royal Electric Company is seeking a VDC Sr Modeler to lead the detailing of installation and prefab drawings under the VDC department. You will mentor junior modelers, refine workflows, and ensure adherence to Royal standards while coordinating with the VDC Supervisor and Coordinator.

The role emphasizes improving project quality, reducing field conflicts, and maintaining clear communication across teams. Strong BIM and Revit skills are required for this on-site position in Sacramento.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a BIM environment.
• At least 2+ years of working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• At least 2+ years of experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, Trimble, Bluebeam (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead production of installation, Prefab & other supporting drawings to Royal R-series standards.
• Maintain clear communication with VDC Coordinator & Supervisor on tasks and deadlines.
• Mentor junior modelers to ensure Royal standards are adopted.
• Develop advanced detailing workflows to improve project quality and reduce field conflicts.
