Job summary

Royal Electric is seeking a VDC Coordinator to support BIM coordination, clash detection, and model coordination on large electrical projects. You will work with project teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure models meet project requirements and schedules.

A strong electrical background and 4+ years of BIM experience are preferred; proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related tools is required. This full-time role is on-site with a focus on collaboration and safety.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience working in a BIM environment.
• Strong electrical background preferred.
• Ability to read plans, specs and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Support BIM coordination meetings and model planning.
• Track design conflicts and help develop coordinated models.
• Collaborate with VDC Sr Coordinator, Supervisor and Manager.
• Ensure models meet GC requirements and schedules.
• Assist with clash detection and resolution workflows.
