Qualifications

• 10+ years of MEP/HVAC experience, preferably in commercial construction.
• Proven experience leading, supervising, and mentoring BIM/technical teams.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and 3D detailing tools.
• Knowledge of Florida construction codes and permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering/BIM team.
• Oversee HVAC and plumbing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, permits, and as-built documentation.
• Create and review drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Coordinate BIM models and project drawings with PMs, field teams, trades, and vendors.
• Read and interpret contract drawings, equipment submittals, and specs.
• Perform material take-offs, field surveys, and RFI responses.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans and drawing packages.
• Ensure drawings meet codes, permit requirements, and Florida regs.
• Maintain drawing logs, project records, and documentation.
• Improve digital workflows, drawing quality, and team productivity.
