Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a Senior VDC Engineer to lead BIM coordination, clash detection and VDC process implementation on active projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design and field teams, trade partners and vendors to resolve coordination issues and keep projects on schedule. You will develop 4D schedules, generate constructible models, review shop drawings, and contribute to training and best-practice development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture or engineering.
4+ years in construction or design field.
2+ years in a Virtual Design and Construction or Integrator role.
Proficient with Navisworks, Revit and related tools.

Responsibilities

Lead BIM coordination and clash detection on active projects.
Create and integrate construction models for design-construction coordination.
Develop 4D schedules linking model to project timeline.
Review shop drawings with the construction model for accuracy.
Identify coordination conflicts and drive resolution with teams.
Support training and best-practice development for VDC teams.
