LiRo-Hill in New York City seeks an experienced VDC Engineer to lead building information modeling efforts across architectural, structural, MEP, and utility disciplines. You will manage complex models, ensure QA/QC, and coordinate trade teams to deliver high‑quality deliverables.

You will leverage Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools, adapting to project needs, while supporting reality capture workflows and 4D simulations. A strong client‑facing capable communicator is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an AEC-related discipline.
• Min. 5 years of hands‑on BIM/VDC experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Proficiency in Autodesk products such as Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks; knowledge of Bentley tools is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, MEP, and utility/site infrastructure.
• Oversee project model setup and management throughout the project lifecycle; set up projects to support linked files, coordinate systems and multi‑phase workflows.
• Apply standards, BIM execution strategies, and best practices to diverse project types and client requirements.
• Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards and protocols.
• Perform Clash Detection and coordinate 3D trade coordination meetings and support management of trade contractor drafters.
• Lead QA/QC processes and manage BIM deliverables using point clouds, drawings, and as‑built references.
• Support reality capture services (LiDAR, SLAM) and Scan‑to‑BIM workflows.
• Produce renderings, visualizations and 4D simulations as needed.
• Support site visits and field verification.
• Troubleshoot BIM software and stay current with emerging tools.
