Job summary

Clearwater seeks a vCISO/Principal Consultant to act as a strategic advisor, leading complex engagements and shaping client security programs. The role balances executive relationship management with hands-on delivery, risk management, and thought leadership across Health IT and other sectors.

The position includes mentoring junior staff, contributing to internal methodologies, and driving Clearwater’s growth and market leadership through direct client impact and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Consulting, Cybersecurity, or related role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor guiding clients in cybersecurity and compliance strategies and tactical plan execution.
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships aligned with business objectives and regulatory needs.
• Act as primary contact for complex engagements, managing expectations and delivering high-value recommendations.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client engagements and contribute to business development.
• Lead and oversee Clearwater's consulting services in accordance with SOWs and client policies.
• Provide oversight for engagement processes and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage scope, risks, and timelines.
