UC Davis Health in Sacramento is seeking a Non-Invasive Vascular Technologist to perform routine and specialized ultrasound exams for vascular disease assessment. You will work independently within established protocols, delivering accurate results to physicians and care teams across hospital sites.

The role requires ARDMS RVT, BLS/UC Davis CPR, and strong knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy. The position is on-site, per diem with a 12-hour shift pattern and rotations across facilities.

Qualifications

• ARDMS RVT credential (required for full consideration).
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or UC Davis Health CPR certification.
• Operates ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality results.
• Knowledge of ultrasound physics and tissue propagation.
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologies for ultrasound interpretation.
• Ability to recognize normal anatomy and differentiate disease and artifacts.
• Analytical skills for non-routine, complex ultrasound studies.
• Physical ability to perform all staff sonographer functions.

Responsabilités

• 85% - ULTRASOUND SCANNING/PHYSIOLOGIC TESTING
• 10% - GENERAL DEPARTMENT FUNCTIONS
• 5% - OPERATION OF ULTRASOUND EQUIPMENT IN SPECIAL APPLICATIONS AND AREAS
