Job summary

UVA Health is seeking a Vascular Sonography Technologist to perform specialized vascular ultrasound examinations and deliver high-quality diagnostic studies in a fast-paced academic setting. You will collaborate with vascular surgeons, physicians, APPs, nurses, and imaging staff to support clinical decision making and patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited program in appropriate area.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Licensure: AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic studies.
• Collaborate with vascular surgeons, physicians, APPs, nurses, and imaging professionals.
• Provide compassionate care and education to patients.
• Apply sound clinical judgment while evaluating findings.
• Schedule primarily Monday–Friday with limited call 4 PM–11 PM.
