Job summary

BRG Transaction and Valuation Opinions provides valuation services for transactions, portfolio valuation, tax/financial reporting, litigation, and restructurings. The team serves hedge funds, PE funds, and corporate clients with senior consultants guiding growth and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field.
• 2–4 years valuation experience, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm.
• Experience leading client-ready valuation deliverables (or similar client service deliverables).
• Significant progress toward ASA designation or similar designation will be looked upon favorably.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical and projected financial information.
• Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
• Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
• Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
• Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
• Present thorough valuation analyses to clients consistent with project scope.
• Experience with option pricing models (Black-Scholes) and Monte Carlo simulation is preferred.
