Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior valuation professional to lead engagements across financial reporting, tax planning, gift and estate tax, and M&A. You will own scoping, budgeting, and final deliverables, guiding analysts and coordinating client communications.

You will build and review complex financial models (DCF, market approaches, option pricing), using S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, PitchBook, and BVR to derive valuation conclusions and present findings to auditors and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of valuation experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
• Valuation designations ASA, CFA, ABV, CVA or progress toward one
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with DCF and market approaches

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax compliance, gift and estate tax, and M&A
• Own scoping, proposals, and final deliverables while keeping projects on budget and schedule
• Build and review complex financial models including DCF and option pricing
• Identify and analyze comparable transactions and multiples using S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, PitchBook, and BVR
• Draft narrative reports and supervise junior analysts for quality control
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and manage data requests and presentations
