Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a hands-on validation engineer to lead customer-focused system validation of enterprise and data-center SSDs, owning execution, debugging, qualification, and cross-functional coordination.

The role requires building validation environments, developing test scripts, mentoring junior engineers, and applying AI to improve efficiency across validation programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, ECE, or related field with 8+ years in validation.
• Strong knowledge of NVMe and PCIe protocols; cross-domain debugging.
• Experience with Python, C/C++ and automation/testing frameworks.
• Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with firmware/hardware teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement customer-specific system and SSD validation cycles, including regressions and qualification runs.
• Set up and maintain validation environments and analyze test results to drive root-cause resolution.
• Perform system-level and drive-level debugging and reproduce customer-reported issues.
• Develop and enhance validation test cases, scripts, and automation frameworks.
• Own the process of conducting validation for assigned programs while mentoring developing engineers and contributing to test strategy.
• Apply Artificial Intelligence to improve organizational level working efficiency.
