Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a tests engineer to design, develop, and automate test content for next‑generation SSD products.

You will contribute to feature validation, test method innovation, requirements analysis, and execution of validation workflows across multiple technologies and platforms. You will build reusable validation components in Python, enhance automation workflows, and participate in design reviews and validation planning while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to

Qualifications

Develop automated tests for storage devices or embedded systems, including creating new test cases, test flows, and reusable validation components.
Python or related scripting languages used for test automation.
Translate customer specifications and industry standards into executable validation content.
Adhere to structured development methodologies: requirements breakdown, feature-based test planning, code reviews, CI/automation practices, and version control.
Work with test execution environments using analyzers, logs, and debugging tools to validate features and diagnose failures.
Understand SSD fundamentals, including NAND behavior, basic FTL concepts, and high-level controller architecture.

Responsibilities

Develop automated test content for next-generation Micron SSDs across multiple hardware, OS, and platform configurations.
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, systems, and product teams to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Contribute to CI-based automated regression systems and reporting dashboards.
