Job summary

RTX is seeking a Process Engineer to support Vacuum Dewar Fabrication, focusing on wirebond and precision alignment in an ISO CleanRoom. You will collaborate with technicians, product engineers, and equipment engineers to develop processes and improve yield, throughput, and safety.

The role requires familiarity with Vacuum Processing, Leak Check, Plating, Photolithography, and Metrology, plus capability to read schematics and operate chemical-handling processes.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in Process, Chemical and/or Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Will use chemicals, metrology, inspection microscope, alignment and bonding equipment in a cleanroom environment.
• Handling chemical safety data and follow and advise on safety protocols including the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders.
• Working with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE/ANOVA).
