Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a UXO Technician III to identify and classify unexploded ordnance (UXO) and discarded munitions (DMM) on active sites.

You will supervise on-site demilitarization, conduct risk analyses, and ensure compliance with DoD policies. The role requires high school diploma with 8 years EOD experience, NAVSCOLEOD or equivalent training, and ability to operate detection and geophysical equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 8 years EOD experience in munitions response or range clearance.
• Graduate of formal UXO training course or EOD school; or military EOD school completion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform on-site demilitarization of MEC and handling of demolition materials.
• Prepare an explosives storage plan per applicable guidance.
• Prepare required UXO munitions response actions and range maintenance administrative reports.
• Prepare SOPs for on-site munitions responses and range clearance activities.
• Assist in the preparation of risk and hazards analyses.
• Conduct daily site safety briefings.
• Supervise all on-site UXO-related operations.
• Inspect and certify MPPEH as safe or as to the hazard it may present for DoD transfer or release.
