Job summary

Coventry is seeking a UX/UI Product Designer to own end-to-end design for internal tools and consumer-facing interfaces, focusing on AI-native features in life insurance workflows. The role is in-office two days a week near Madison Square Garden, reporting to the VP of Product, with potential to grow into team leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of product design with shipped B2B/B2C work, including user research and wireframes.
• Strong UX fundamentals: information architecture, interactions, user flows.
• Excellent UI craft in Figma: typography, hierarchy, spacing, production-ready designs.
• Active use of AI/generative AI tools in design workflows with thoughtful POV.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of core user journeys for internal tools and external interfaces.
• Define and evolve information architecture and ontology for product surfaces.
• Establish the design foundation for AI-powered features and guidance workflows.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system across surfaces.
• Contribute to the product roadmap with user insight and design thinking.
