Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to craft high-quality, customer-centered interfaces, blending strong design craft with AI-assisted workflows and rapid prototyping. You’ll collaborate with product, business, and engineering to develop solutions that meet user and business needs.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence 2–3 days weekly at Palo Alto, Seattle, or Bethesda; you’ll lead prototyping, wireframes, and UI specifications, while advocating for responsible AI and scalable design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in design or related field.
• 5+ years of UX design experience.
• Experience designing for cross-channel experiences (web and native mobile).
• Experience applying AI tools or AI-assisted workflows in design.
• Solid knowledge of AI/ML/generative AI in product design.
• Ability to design and test responsible AI interactions (clickable/conversational).
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma) and collaboration in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover needs.
• Translates AI-driven and data-informed concepts into usable solutions.
• Navigate AI landscape to inform design across projects.
• Advocates for ethical, responsible AI in products.
• Speaks to product prioritization and early definition.
• Leads discovery, research, and user testing with stakeholders.
• Creates flows, wireframes, journey maps, and UI specs using AI tools.
• Delivers assets to engineering for production.
