Job summary

Gesa Credit Union is seeking a UX/UI Designer to translate our brand into a compelling digital banking experience. You will define information architecture, craft screen interactions, and maintain a live Figma prototype used by product, development, and marketing teams.

You will collaborate with Brand, Digital Transformation, Web, and Compliance to ensure accessible, compliant designs across online banking, websites, apps, and emails. A strong portfolio and 4+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in UX design, interaction design, visual communications, HCI, or related field.
Minimum of four years of professional UX/UI design experience shipping digital products or marketing sites.
Portfolio with case studies showing process and a shipped result, including a clickable prototype and a multi-step journey.

Responsibilities

Set information architecture and interaction strategy for priority paths.
Design the look and interaction of screens, including typography and visual hierarchy.
Maintain a clickable Figma prototype for cross‑team use.
Build and grow Figma component libraries from the design system.
Define wording for buttons/labels/prompts based on research and behavioral data.
Run lightweight usability tests and analyze funnel data to prioritize fixes.
Perform design QA/QC to ensure alignment with design and simplicity.
Enable AI-assisted prototyping within the team’s workflows.
Collaborate with product, development, copywriting, compliance, and marketing teams.
