Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a capable usability professional to lead research efforts for web and mobile applications across multiple platforms. You will plan and conduct user research, interviews, and evaluations, and translate findings into actionable design decisions for mid-scale initiatives.

You will present results to design teams and mid-level leaders, educate project teams on usability value, and mentor junior staff as part of Vanguard's collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Provides usability services for web or mobile applications across multiple platforms for mid-scale projects.
• Plans, designs, and conducts user research, usability, and heuristic evaluations studies.
• Conducts user interviews to identify user needs and gather feedback.
• Analyzes, summarizes, and presents results to design teams and leaders.
• Trains and mentors junior staff in usability best practices.
