Job summary

Ōura is seeking a senior UX Researcher to elevate the discovery, evaluation, purchase, and management experience for Oura products and Membership online. The role focuses on the global DTC eCommerce experience with potential expansion to Membership and B2B experiences.

The position is remote in the US with a slight preference for candidates in San Francisco, San Diego, or Boston. You will lead interdisciplinary research, synthesize insights, and advance scalable research operations.

Qualifications

5+ years of dedicated user research guiding end-to-end studies.
Experience evaluating digital commerce platforms, B2B, SaaS, or complex web apps.
Expert qualitative research: interviews, usability studies, synthesis.
AI-driven research methods for recruitment, moderation, transcripts, and sharing—privacy-conscious.

Responsibilities

Lead holistic user research across digital commerce and enterprise portals.
Design and run interviews, usability evaluations, concept testing, and card sorting.
Collaborate with Design, Product, Engineering, Insights, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
Synthesize research into journey maps, JTBD, page-level goals, and friction maps.
Anchor qualitative findings with analytics, experiments, and heuristics.
Articulate themes to leadership tying user motivations to metrics.
Improve research operations with scalable templates and workflows.
