Job summary

Zohorecruit in Chicago is seeking an experienced UX Researcher to lead research activities and translate findings into tangible UX improvements. The role collaborates with designers, engineers, and product owners to shape user-centric experiences.

You will document UX strategy, create artifacts like journey maps and storyboards, and help prioritize research aligned with the product roadmap. Hybrid work requires in-office presence as needed to support the Shop Team and broader engineering

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in UX Research or related field, preferably in corporate/B2B environments.
Bachelor's or higher in HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, or related UX field; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Translate research and test findings into prioritized UI design recommendations.
Clarify user, customer, and business needs and translate into concepts for compelling interactions and user experience.
Demonstrate knowledge of research methodologies and facilitate research.
Integrate user research into product designs and design practices.
Communicate prototype requirements to designers for testing and iteration.
Document goals, themes, elements, and behaviors for downstream UI teams.
Create shareable UX artifacts (journey maps, storyboards, user flows) and document the overall UX strategy.
Prioritize research needs/backlog based on product roadmap.
