Job summary

Exxon Mobil is seeking an Experience Design Specialist to lead a small UX team and translate research into practical design solutions. You will partner with product managers and developers to deliver user-centric outcomes on complex platforms.

The role emphasizes mentorship, agile delivery, and strong communication within a dynamic energy technology environment at the Spring, TX campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UX design, Human Factors, HCI, Information science, or similar field.
• 10+ years UX or related field experience.
• Experience leading a small UX team on multiple projects.
• Proven ability to lead UX design from concept to completion, incl. research, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing.
• Mentor and develop junior designers in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers).
• Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, teamwork, and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience on an Agile software team.
