Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Senior UX Researcher/Designer to lead user-centered research and design initiatives in a Houston-based role. You will drive qualitative and quantitative studies, synthesize insights, and influence product direction across enterprise platforms and SaaS configurations.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in UX, a strong portfolio, and hands-on design experience, with fluency in research-to-design translation and collaboration across Product Management and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Psychology, Design, Human Factors, Information Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in UX Research, UX Design, Product Design, or related disciplines.
• Experience translating research into user-centered design solutions.
• Strong portfolio with research and design deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading user research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research studies.
• Develop research strategies informing product vision and roadmaps.
• Execute user interviews, field studies, usability testing, surveys, and competitive analyses.
• Identify pain points, behaviors, and unmet needs.
• Translate findings into actionable insights, personas, and journey maps.
• Communicate results to stakeholders and leadership.
• Establish and promote research best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate insights into enterprise configurations and design improvements.
• Design user journeys, task flows, and interaction models within COTS/SaaS constraints.
• Collaborate with vendors and implementation teams to maximize platform capabilities.
• Create wireframes, mocks, and prototypes when needed.
• Ensure accessibility and UX best practices in configurations.
• Drive continuous UX process improvements and adoption strategies.
