Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior UX Program Manager for Discover and Explore to drive large-scale UX programs across Mountain View, New York and additional offices. You will plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-centered experiences that impact billions of users worldwide.

You will partner with UX Research and cross-functional leads to land insights into product strategy, scale impactful programs, and establish team rhythms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of program management experience within design or UX.
• Experience with UX related projects and UX design, user research, or user centered development tools and methodologies.
• Experience in consumer product organizations.
• Experience managing and scaling horizontal programs across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across UX teams to deliver trust-building and strategic counsel through all project interactions, while building strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across program work.
• Develop business cases and engagement with partners on continuous improvements and optimizations, creating measurable, scalable processes/tools for cross-functional collaborations/handoffs.
• Run and implement analytical efforts for broader or cross-functional projects, programs, and strategies.
• Contribute to the definition, integration and reporting of key UX metrics that drive a culture of user-centered development.
• Manage large, complex programs while turning chaos into an efficient organization.
