Job summary

Relias in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Principal UX Designer – Design Operations to optimize product operations across our portfolio. You will standardize processes, drive data-driven decisions, and ensure seamless collaboration between UX, Product, and Engineering.

This role focuses on scaling UX practices, owning the UX Design System, and embedding AI to speed workflows. You will manage KPIs, vendor coordination, and tool adoption while maintaining accessibility standards and leading

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in user experience design or related product/engineering roles.
• Experience collaborating with UX, product, and engineering teams to improve operations.
• Advanced knowledge of modern UX design methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of accessibility in modern products.
• Strong analytical skills for improving complex workflows.
• Experience with OKRs, KPI tracking, and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Applied AI literacy to improve product workflows with guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Own and standardize UX processes, templates, and operating models for scale.
• Scale UX practices across the product development lifecycle and workflows.
• Identify and remove process bottlenecks to boost productivity.
• Coordinate research activities and standardize artifacts.
• Use data-driven methods to evaluate UX impact and drive improvements.
• Collaborate across UX, Product, and Engineering to align work.
• Ensure data accessibility for decision-making across teams.
• Define and report KPIs for product operations initiatives.
• Lead adoption of product tools and dashboards to drive efficiency.
