Amazon’s Devices & Services Experience Design (DxD) team seeks a Sr. UX Motion Designer to push motion design beyond traditional animation, leveraging AI-driven tools to prototype and explore interactive systems for Fire TV and multimodal experiences.

You’ll craft elegant motion solutions, advocate for design excellence, and collaborate with engineers, PMs and researchers across the product lifecycle. You will drive creative reviews, deliver concise motion design deliverables, and help shape

Qualifications

7+ years in design roles.
3+ years as a UX motion designer.
Available online portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field.
Experience with After Effects and animation prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

Craft motion UX behaviors, systems and animations for user delight.
Use AI/generative tools to accelerate exploration and prototype interactive behaviors.
Produce motion studies for user flows and leadership presentations.
Collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers and PMs across lifecycle.
Contribute to motion design guidelines and best practices.
Adapt motion primitives for existing and emerging modalities.
Partner with engineers to scale experiences without losing intent.
Present work for review to partner teams and leadership.
Inspire other designers within the DxD studio.
Extend motion experiences across Amazon offerings.
