Job summary

Amazon is seeking a passionate UX Motion Designer to craft motion UX for Fire TV and related platforms. You will collaborate with design, research, engineering and product teams to translate concepts into compelling interface animations and prototypes.

You will drive the motion design process, advocate for design excellence, and contribute to vision across multimodal experiences while partnering with engineers to deliver scalable, delightful interfaces at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional experience as a motion designer
• 1+ years professional experience as a UX motion designer
• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion, Interaction or Graphic Design or equivalent design-related field
• Experience in a variety of design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Figma and other animation prototyping tools
• Portfolio demonstrating motion design work and UX integration

Responsibilities

• Craft motion UX behaviors, systems and animations that orient, guide and add delight for customers
• Produce motion studies for user flows and leadership presentations with iterative design options
• Collaborate with peer designers, researchers, engineers and product managers
• Contribute to motion design guidelines, development best practices and standards
• Adapt core motion primitives to optimize experiences across modalities
• Partner with product management to align on vision, requirements and deliver motion designs
• Work with software engineers to scale experiences without compromising principles
• Present work to partner teams and design leadership for review
• Contribute to the broader design community to extend motion experiences
• Inspire other designers within the DxD studio
