Job summary

Amazon is seeking a UX Motion Designer for the Devices & Services Experience Design team in Seattle. You will craft motion UX behaviors for Fire TV and multimodal experiences, collaborating across design, engineering and product management to deliver compelling motion.

Expect to define guidelines, iterate on solutions, and advocate for design excellence in a fast-paced environment. You will work with engineers to scale motion language while maintaining customer intent and contribute to a culture

Qualifications

• Portfolio required to apply.
• 3+ years professional experience as a motion designer.
• 1+ years UX motion design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion, Interaction or Graphic Design or equivalent.
• Experience with After Effects, Figma and other animation prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Craft motion UX behaviors, systems and animations that orient, guide and add delight for customers.
• Produce motion studies for user flows and leadership presentations with rapid iteration.
• Collaborate with peer, interaction, visual and sound designers in a team setting.
• Contribute to motion design guidelines and development best practices.
• Adapt core motion primitives for existing and emerging modalities.
• Partner with product management to align on requirements and deliver motion design.
• Work with software engineers to leverage platform scale while preserving user intent.
• Present work to partner teams and design leadership for feedback.
• Contribute to the broader design community to extend motion experiences.
• Inspire other designers in the DxD studio.
