Baxter International Inc. in the United States is seeking a User Experience Designer to collaborate with global teams to design intuitive, evidence-based healthcare software that clinicians use daily.

You will lead and consult with cross-functional teams, conduct user research, usability testing, and craft design documentation, while advocating for the user and maintaining Baxter design standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, Qt Design Studio.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Factors or related field and 5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel to Baxter and/or customer sites and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
• A solid understanding of UX design principles.
• Experience with UI design and prototyping tools, including advanced Figma skills (components, variables, auto-layout, themes).
• Passion for improving user experiences and advocating for user-centered processes.
• Ability to explain and document UI designs and decisions, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with medical device or regulated fields preferred.

Responsabilités

• Create user friendly interface designs adhering to Baxter design patterns and guidelines.
• Participate in customer interviews, interactions, and user research to identify needs.
• Create UI prototypes for testing or marketing purposes.
• Participate in usability research including test plans, scripts, moderation, and reports.
• Document user experience designs and specifications.
• Provide UX input to cross functional teams for product/process improvements.
• Act independently with minimal supervision in an Agile environment.
• Communicate design intent through storyboards, user-stories, workflows, wireframes and final assets.
