Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience with digital products and a portfolio that demonstrates process and thinking
• 1+ year experience with touch-based mobile interfaces
• Experience designing data-intensive applications; background in financial services and brokerage platforms preferred
• Deep knowledge of user-centered design including research, flows, wireframes, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and content specs
• Experience running design sessions with cross-functional teams
• Experience designing accessible solutions and participating in accessibility testing
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary Agile teams and facilitating design sessions
• Fluency with Figma and modern design systems
• Experience integrating AI tools (Copilot, Figma Make, MCPs, Vercel) to improve design outcomes

Responsibilities

• Lead product design from discovery through launch and iteration, turning client needs and goals into thoughtful solutions
• Design cohesive interactions for responsive web and native mobile experiences with attention to layout, typography, color, and motion
• Simplify data-intensive trading workflows without compromising power and precision for investors
• Use and evolve the Schwab design system to create scalable patterns and components
• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, content strategists, accessibility specialists, and business partners in an Agile environment
• Facilitate problem framing and ideation, communicate a clear design point of view, and move decisions forward with rationale
• Lead cross-disciplinary UX efforts, identify risks early, and help teams navigate ambiguity
• Champion accessible, high-quality experiences at all stages
