Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Senior User Experience Designer (individual contributor) to shape the Client Central platform and related tools used by thousands of Schwab reps daily. You will translate complex business challenges into scalable, user-centered solutions across data-dense workflows, helping modernization efforts for faster, more confident client service.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of design experience on digital products in a financial services environment.
• Experience in enterprise environments, Agile, Lean, process design, program management, and related technologies.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels.
• Experience applying AI tools to accelerate design exploration, prototyping, documentation, and delivery (Figma Make, Copilot, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaborative design sessions, sketching and ideation.
• Lead design reviews and drive decisions across a multi-faceted team.
• Create design solutions aligning sales, service and advice channels.
• Model and strengthen consistent design practices across partner teams.
• Use iterative design, research and testing to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
• Visualize ideas through sketches, diagrams, wireframes, or prototypes and document appropriately.
• Conduct primary design activities, deliverables, QA at an expert level.
• Support research efforts and improve our processes and methods.
