Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer (individual contributor) to shape the future of Schwab’s Client Central platform and related tools used by reps daily. You will translate complex business challenges into intuitive, scalable interfaces within data-dense workflows.

This role emphasizes collaboration with product owners, solution architects, and design systems, with an emphasis on modernization and AI-enabled design practices.

Qualifications

• BA/BFA degree required.
• 5+ years of design experience on digital products in a financial services environment.
• Experience in enterprise environments, Agile/Lean, process design, and PM practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across org levels.
• Experience with AI-enabled design tools and workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design sessions facilitation, reviews, and decision leadership.
• Create scalable design solutions across complex workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners and solution architects to meet business objectives and user needs.
• Contribute to design systems and maintain consistency across experiences.
• Communicate status and progress with project teams and UX managers.
