Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience with digital products and a portfolio.
• Experience with touch-based mobile interfaces.
• Background in financial services and brokerage platforms is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of user-centered design including research, flows, and prototyping.
• Experience running design sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to design accessible solutions and participate in accessibility testing.
• Experience collaborating in Agile teams and facilitating design sessions.
• Fluency with Figma and design systems.
• Ability to integrate AI tools into the design process to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Design cohesive interactions for web and mobile with attention to layout and typography.
• Simplify data-intensive trading workflows while preserving precision.
• Evolve the Schwab design system with scalable patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, researchers, and strategists in Agile work.
• Frame problems, communicate design perspectives, and move decisions forward.
• Lead cross-disciplinary UX efforts and manage ambiguity, maintaining high quality.
