Job summary

Charles Schwab in Indianapolis is seeking a Digital Product Manager (individual contributor) to support our digital trading path experiences on retail web and mobile applications. You will manage backlog, define requirements, and partner with web and mobile scrum teams to deliver features such as trade tickets, order status, and options chains.

The role requires 3+ years in digital trading, experience as a PO leading a scrum team, strong analytics, and collaboration across UX/UI and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years within a brokerage/financial services firm as a product owner responsible for digital trading experiences on web and mobile.
• 3+ years experience as a PO leading a scrum team.
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities including leveraging data and insights.
• Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team within an interactive process and an Agile development methodology.
• 3+ years of developing strong digital product management skills, experience with client journeys, demonstrated ability to synthesize process data, writing epics and stories, and experience working closely with UX/UI professionals to design the client experience.
• Curiosity to continually reevaluate existing designs and processes by leveraging strong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsAbility to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities, i.e. managing to fixed scope and date scenarios.
• Effective in managing business risk through assessing risk probability and impact, developing processes for risk mitigation and detection in rollout and test plans, and scenario planning.
• Skilled relationship builder – ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as various personality types.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story.
• Knowledge of financial markets and trading and the needs of the retail client.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, elicit, and document requirements/stories for new digital trading features.
• Manage and maintain a robust backlog augmenting existing POs on multiple teams.
• Work closely with web and mobile application scrum teams.
• Hands on full product lifecycle experience in digital trading.
