Job summary

Initiate Government Solutions, LLC. is recruiting a remote Senior UX Designer to support a federal government IT modernization program. The role focuses on leading user experience design across the product lifecycle, translating complex requirements into intuitive digital experiences.

The position emphasizes human-centered design, accessibility (Section 508 and WCAG), and collaboration with stakeholders. Remote work is available with potential onsite client meetings as requested.

Qualifications

• 3 years of demonstrated professional experience in UX design or related digital disciplines.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions.
• Experience designing mock-ups, click-through or coded prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design activities for web-based and enterprise applications from discovery through design and delivery.
• Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive experiences.
• Conduct user research, interviews and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create personas, journey maps and information architecture to guide product design.
• Develop wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma or similar tools.
