Job summary

Wing is seeking a Sr. Staff UX Designer to lead end-to-end design across consumer apps, partner operations, and internal tools within the Product & UX team.

This senior IC role blends hardware and software challenges, working with Product, Engineering, and Aviation Operations to craft human-centered, scalable experiences for autonomous drone delivery across the US, with hybrid or fully remote options. You will mentor designers, contribute to the design system, and shape how users and partners

Qualifications

• 15+ years of design, product design, or interaction design experience with shipped products.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design process and systems thinking.
• BA/BS in Design or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience designing for complex multi-sided ecosystems and physical–software workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design across the full product lifecycle—from early discovery, user journeys, and information architecture to interactive prototypes and high‑fidelity visual execution
• Craft seamless, intuitive experiences for our consumer-facing mobile applications and build scalable integration experiences for our retail and delivery partners
• Map and optimize the complex service workflows that connect merchant fulfillment, ground operations, and real-time delivery logistics
• Design sophisticated internal tools and operational dashboards used to configure, monitor, and manage a fleet of autonomous aircraft and delivery networks
• Partner with UX Research to design user interviews, studies, and testing, translating qualitative insights into actionable design decisions
• Contribute to, evolve, and scale the design system and visual language across the Wing ecosystem
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Hardware, and Aviation Operations partners to navigate technical and regulatory constraints, while elevating team craft through design critiques and mentorship
