Job summary

Skydio, the leading US drone company, seeks a UX Product Designer to craft interfaces for autonomous flying robots, translating extreme technical complexity into intuitive, reliable experiences. You will own complex features, collaborate with Design Leadership and Product Managers, and maintain an incredibly high bar for detail.

You will map Critical User Journeys and build cross-platform experiences (Web, Mobile, Ground Control Stations) for customers in the national security/defense vertical,

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of hands-on UX/UI product design experience translating requirements into design concepts.
• Portfolio demonstrating high visual design, complex systems, and attention to detail.
• Experience designing for technical tools and multi-step workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design for trust by creating interfaces for autonomous flying robots to reinforce reliability and transparency.
• Build cross-platform experiences (Web, Mobile, Ground Control Stations) for national security/defense customers.
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes to test assumptions and leverage AI tools to accelerate design.
• Collaborate with Design Leadership, Product Managers, and Engineers to map CUJs and improve operator decision-making.
