Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior UX/HCD Designer to lead human-centered design across cross-functional teams for CIRCIA-related digital products in Arlington, VA. The role emphasizes usability, accessibility, and alignment with regulatory requirements in federal civilian programs.

You will shape public-facing and enterprise experiences, collaborate with product owners, engineers, and compliance leads, and drive design decisions informed by user research to reduce friction in complex reporting

Qualifications

7+ years of product design experience translating complex or technical requirements into clear user experiences.
Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools and detailed design specifications for engineering handoff.
Experience identifying and documenting usability and accessibility issues.

Responsibilities

Lead design efforts for one or more priority digital products or forms with cross-functional stakeholders.
Prepare draft specifications, annotations, interaction notes, screen states, and expected behaviors for review by senior design leadership.
Provide structured handoffs to engineering and operations with acceptance criteria grounded in user research.
Iterate on designs based on stakeholder and user feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
