Job summary

Everforth ECS in Arlington, VA (Hybrid) is seeking a Senior UX/HCD Designer to lead human-centered design for CIRCIA products within a cross-functional team. You will ensure digital services are usable, accessible, and aligned with data architectures and regulatory requirements.

You will work with product, design, engineering, and compliance stakeholders to shape experiences for public-facing and enterprise systems, informed by user research and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 7+ years of product design experience, translating complex requirements into clear user experiences.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Mural) and creating detailed specifications for engineering handoff.
• Experience identifying and documenting usability and accessibility issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for one or more priority digital products or forms with stakeholders across business, engineering, and compliance.
• Prepare draft specifications, annotations, interaction notes, screen states, and expected behaviors for senior design leadership review.
• Provide structured handoffs to engineering and operations with acceptance criteria based on user research.
• Identify and elevate usability, accessibility, and consistency issues observed during design and review.
• Iterate on designs based on stakeholder and user feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
