Job summary

Everforth ECS in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior UX/HCD Designer to join our hybrid office. You will lead design efforts for CIRCIA-related products, collaborating with product, engineering, and compliance teams to deliver accessible, user-centered digital services for federal stakeholders.

You will translate complex requirements into clear user experiences, draft specifications for engineering handoff, and advocate for usability and accessibility throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of product design experience translating complex requirements into user experiences.
• Experience with design specs for engineering handoff and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for priority digital products and forms with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare draft specifications, annotations, and screen states for review by senior leadership.
• Provide structured handoffs to engineering with acceptance criteria from user research.
• Identify usability and accessibility issues and improve consistency.
• Iterate designs based on feedback through the product lifecycle.
