Job summary

North is seeking a User Experience Designer to shape digital products across platforms, owning large-scale initiatives and partnering with Development and Product teams.

You will translate complex requirements into intuitive workflows, build high-fidelity prototypes, and advance our design language while incorporating AI-enabled features. The role emphasizes accessibility, security, and a strong user-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of UX design experience with a proven portfolio.
• Portfolio demonstrating complete web and mobile products with interactive prototypes.
• Experience designing for AI-enabled features and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex requirements into workflows, detailed mockups, and documentation across web, iOS, and Android.
• Build polished, high-fidelity interactive prototypes to demonstrate flows and edge cases.
• Map end-to-end user journeys for payments-related products (checkout, wallets, disputes, onboarding).
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define feature sets and prioritize requirements.
• Conduct user research and competitive analysis; develop personas and workflows.
• Evolve design language and system; partner with engineering for QA alignment.
