Job summary

Savvas Learning Company is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the resolution of complex design challenges across K–12 platforms. You will drive user-centered strategy, mentor designers, and shape AI-powered experiences while upholding a robust design system and cross-functional collaboration.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to deliver exceptional, data-rich educational products that scale across platforms and user roles.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of end-to-end UX/Product Design experience leading complex initiatives across the full product development lifecycle.
• Portfolio demonstrating ability to break down highly complex enterprise problems into scalable design systems.
• AI product mastery: experience designing and shipping AI-enabled features for digital products.
• AI-enhanced workflow: integrating AI tools to boost exploration efficiency and productivity.
• Design system governance: building and maintaining scalable component libraries and design tokens in modern tooling.
• Interaction & accessibility: strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and advanced interaction design.
• Domain expertise: experience in EdTech or enterprise SaaS serving multi-tiered users.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Strategic Design: define UX strategy for high-impact initiatives across multiple products.
• User-Centered Advocacy & Leadership: mentor teams and align decisions with real user needs.
• Advanced AI Feature Design: create transparent, explainable AI-driven experiences.
• Design System Evolution: govern and scale the design system for consistency.
• Strategic Cross-Functional Partnership: partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science leaders.
• Mentorship & Design Culture: coach mid-level and junior designers to raise craftsmanship.
