Job summary

Sharp Electronics Corporation USA is seeking a senior UX Designer to lead the user experience process, develop concepts, conduct research, wireframes, and digital prototyping while guiding cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on user research, design judgment, and delivering measurable improvements across appliances and applications with strong collaboration with Product Planning, Industrial Design and Engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in interactive visual design, graphics, industrial design, digital media, communications, computer science, or related field.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize and develop new product specifications and user psychology.
Create personas through user research and data.
Create and implement surveys for direct customer feedback.
Develop storyboards to reflect a typical customer.
Analyze usage data and traffic patterns.
Stay updated on competitor products and industry trends.
Create style guides to define UI elements and communicate design ideas to developers.
Use rough sketches to test multiple solutions and perform user testing.
Develop and enhance digital interfaces for apps and software to improve usability and satisfaction.
Document solutions for management and other functions.
Lead UX projects from start to finish across departments.
Guide UX strategy to ensure consistency across platforms and appliances.
Consult with Planning, Industrial Design, Engineering and others on UX recommendations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
