Job summary

Sharp Electronics Corporation USA is seeking a Manager of the Electrical Engineering Team to lead design reviews, prototyping, and validation of consumer appliance electrical systems. You will drive NPI endeavors, ensure timely and high-quality product launches, and partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize production and user experience.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a strong background in electrical components and compliance standards (UL/CSA/FCC), and a track

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; Master’s preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience in consumer electronics or appliances.
Hands-on experience with prototyping, NPI, and compliance.
Familiarity with UL, CSA, FCC standards.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on design reviews, prototyping, and validation of electrical systems.
Drive electrical aspects of NPI and product launches.
Troubleshoot and refine designs for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with product design, manufacturing and quality teams.
Define test plans and sign off on engineering changes.
