Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead full-scale UX efforts across multiple sites and federal clients. You will conduct research, blueprint interfaces, and ensure accessible, responsive web and mobile designs that meet user needs and business requirements.

The role requires 10+ years of UI/UX experience, a strong portfolio, and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to deliver innovative and intuitive solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years of combined professional design experience (UI/UX).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating research-driven design for web and mobile.
• Ability to design accessible, responsive interfaces per 508/USWDS.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scale UX design efforts including research, blueprinting, and evaluating existing systems.
• Plan, design, and implement multiple sites and apps across clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead user research to inform intuitive web pages and interfaces.
• Collaborate with federal engineers and clients to deliver innovative, user-centered solutions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to communicate interaction ideas.
• Mentor junior designers and drive rapid feedback loops for quality delivery.
