Job summary

Schwab in Austin is seeking an experienced Senior Content Strategist to join the UX team. You will craft high-quality UX content, collaborate with designers and product partners, and ensure content aligns with user needs and business goals in a fast-moving, multi-disciplinary environment.

This role emphasizes problem solving, data-informed decisions, and governance of content strategy. You will lead reviews, guide stakeholders, and contribute to the Charles Schwab design system while shaping

Qualifications

• 6+ years of content design focused on digital products or equivalent
• 1+ year of content design experience for touch-based mobile interfaces
• Experience with user research, user flows, wireframes, accessibility content, and content specifications
• Experience in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams within an Agile environment
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, FigJam, and Writer
• Experience running design sessions with cross-functional teams
• Strong relationship-building across levels and disciplines
• Project-oriented with a positive work ethic

Responsibilities

• Apply content strategy to projects to create quality experiences
• Architect user experiences with designers and product partners
• Produce high-quality UX content and integrate feedback
• Align content to business requirements and user needs
• Inform decisions with data, research and planning
• Lead content reviews and justify decisions
• Oversee content direction and peer reviews
• Identify gaps in UX writing standards and propose solutions
