Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks an experienced electrical engineer to design utility-scale solar PV and battery storage systems, producing construction-ready drawings, equipment specs, layouts and analyses.

You will coordinate with clients, utilities, contractors and internal teams, serve as the electrical engineer of record, and support construction through submittal reviews, RFIs and site visits. This position requires a PE license and offers growth in renewables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 5–7+ years of commercial or utility-scale solar PV design experience.
• Hands-on AutoCAD experience (3+ years).
• Proficiency with power system design and modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design construction-ready electrical drawings, equipment specifications, layouts, and analyses.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, contractors, and internal teams.
• Serve as the electrical engineer of record.
• Support construction through submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits.
