Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Senior Utility-scale Development Manager to initiate, develop, and acquire solar, wind and energy storage projects in the US market. You will lead cross-functional teams, guide project financing preparation, and oversee the full lifecycle from site due diligence to COD.

This office-based role requires strong leadership, extensive renewable energy experience in the US, and ability to travel up to 50% while shaping regional development strategies and market entry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Science, or relevant fields
• PMP®, PgMP® or equivalent certification strongly preferred
• 7+ years in renewable energy infrastructure development (wind/solar/storage) in the US

Responsibilities

• Develops a portfolio of utility-scale Solar, Wind and Energy Storage projects from green-fielding to start of construction
• Leads cross-functional project teams and coordinates with financing, data rooms and third‑party engagements
• Manages full project lifecycle, including land control, permitting, interconnection, engineering & pre-construction, energy yield and tax equity financing
