Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Malvern, PA seeks a Utility Operator/Mechanic III to operate and maintain the utility plant and assist in corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance for biologics manufacturing support.

This role includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates; candidates must have at least 6 years of related industrial experience, be mobile between sites, and perform PM and repairs with mentorship.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent; trade/technical school certificate accepted.
• At least 6 years of related industrial experience (electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, instrumentation, and controls).
• Must be mobile and able to travel between sites as needed.
• Willing to lift up to 25 pounds; PPE required.
• Able to work 6 AM–6:30 PM day shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the utility plant equipment: boilers, chillers, RO, WFI stills, AHUs, and related systems.
• Respond to alarms and monitor equipment operation.
• Complete corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance with proper documentation.
• Participate in PM development and optimization; assist maintenance projects.
• Perform repairs with mentorship and ensure compliance with regulations.
