Job summary

JCW Group in the Lehigh Valley is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. The role covers plant-wide work on multiple systems; this is a Night Shift position with hours from 10pm to 6:30am.

You could tear down heat exchangers, thread and install piping, run calibration checks on scales and flow meters, or help packaging with a changeover in the clean room. You’ll coordinate repairs with supervisors and report to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• GMP-regulated manufacturing experience, preferably pharma.
• Basic electrical, motor, and instrumentation troubleshooting.
• Comfort with pipefitting, rigging, and operating forklifts and man lifts.
• Experience disassembling and rebuilding process equipment, including pumps, agitators, gearboxes, and valves is hugely helpful

Responsibilities

• Tear down and inspect heat exchangers and other process equipment.
• Thread and install piping and assist with plant changes and modifications.
• Run calibration checks on scales and flow meters.
• Assist packaging with changeovers in the clean room and coordinate with maintenance team

Job description

JCW is looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Tech for a pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Lehigh Valley. The role is for someone who wants to work on everything in the plant, not just one line. This is a Night Shift position, and the hours are 10pm to 6:30pm.

On a given shift, you could be tearing down a heat exchanger, threading and installing pipe, running calibration checks on scales and flow meters, or helping packaging with a changeover in the clean room. You’ll work with supervisors and the maintenance team to plan repairs, and you’ll report into the Engineering Manager.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven technician experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment (preferably Pharma)
• Basic electrical, motor, and instrumentation troubleshooting skills
• Comfort with pipefitting, rigging, and operating forklifts and man lifts
• Experience disassembling and rebuilding process equipment, including pumps, agitators, gearboxes, and valves is hugely helpful
