Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Senior Automation Engineer in Malvern, PA. You will join the Automation Engineering team, supporting project execution, validation, and compliance across ISA-95 level 1-3 systems.

Responsibilities include leading complex automation projects, applying process control expertise, and collaborating with Quality, IT, and Lab Systems to optimize manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automation and related fields.
• Experience with automation, including process control systems (Allen Bradley PLC).

Responsibilities

• Support the automation systems, configure interfaces, ensure compliance with global standards, write and perform validation protocols.
• Define project scope and ensure resources, capabilities and processes are in place.
• Act as project leader/core team member by tracking cost, quality, and schedule to ensure effective project execution.
• Establish effective working relationships with Quality, IT, Lab Systems, Procurement and others to optimize processes.
• Help transform the site with new digital technology including predictive maintenance and advanced data visualization tools.
